EFT Membership Policy (Monthly Renewing)

Start-Up Commitment
EFT memberships require a 2+ month commitment upon start-up. There are no admin fees. Upon start, EFT memberships enter a 2+ month contract. If the membership begins on the first of the month, the first payment will be an upfront cost of 3 months. If the membership starts within the month, the first month is prorated based on the number of days remaining, PLUS the upfront cost of 2 full months. Hence the 2+ month commitment. The first automatic payment will be processed at the 1st of the month following the initial 2+ month term.

Payments
To enter into an EFT membership agreement, a valid Visa or Mastercard is required for automatic payments. Card information is recorded and encrypted via www.stripe.com and is authorized for EFT monthly payments only. No other payments can be processed through this method. Card numbers are never stored on customer accounts outside of EFT encrypted payments.

Non-sufficient funds or declined card charges made to Aspire Climbing will be charged to the member's credit card or bank account automatically, at $10 per incident. If the member fails to update payment information within 5 business days, an additional $10 service fee may be charged with the risk of termination.
For expired credit cards, the member has up to 5 business days to update payment information through the online membership change form, over the phone or in person. If updated credit card information is not provided within 5 business days, a $10 service fee will be charged per week with the risk of termination.
Billing Cycle
The billing date for EFT memberships is the 1st day of each month. The cycle commences on the first month after the 2+ month prepaid term has completed. Charges will be applied to the credit card authorized for EFT. Members are responsible for maintaining good standing with payments. Keep credit card information up-to-date to avoid late fees or cancellation from non-payment.

Cancellations
EFT memberships will continue until cancellation is requested by the member or the individual responsible for monthly payments. Requests must be made through the online membership change form or by emailing the applicable Aspire Climbing location. Cancellations within the initial 2+ month start-up term are subject to a $20 early cancellation fee. After cancellation, memberships will remain active until the end of the billing cycle.
Freezes
EFT members may freeze at any time after the initial 2+ month term has completed. The rate for freezing memberships is $10 per month and will be charged to the credit card on file. Requests must be made through the online membership change form or by emailing the applicable Aspire Climbing location. A membership freeze starts before the next billing date. Until that time, memberships remain active until the end of the billing cycle. When unfreezing or reinstating EFT memberships, prorated dues may apply based on the number of days remaining in the month from the start date requested. The automatic billing cycle will resume on the 1st of the following month. The initial 2+ month start-up commitment is not required upon reinstatement.
